VENEERS DRYER

A.C.F. dryers consist of different overlying decks. The lower deck of the four-deck type is normally driven independently to permit simultaneous drying of veneers of grater thickness obtained from logs rounding-off process.

The machines are built up to of standardized units two meters long, so that they can satisfy, in the best possible conditions, any production requirements and can be easily adapted to fit available space.

Cooling chambers can be fitted as additional units to the end sections of the dryers.

The dryers are normally manufactured for working widths of 3.1 and 4.4 m; special driers with working widths of 6.3 m are available.

A.C.F. dryers can be equally as well operated with the various heating media, such as steam, superheated water, diathermic oil.

They are used for rapid and economic drying of veneers over 1 mm thick. Where the conditions are favorable, the veneers with thickness 0,8/0,9 can be dried too.
